CHALLENGE:


Everything started with an idea.

When Gabbo launched his mobile barber business shop, he received great feedback from his first clients. They loved the quality of service combined with such a personal, fun touch.

During our strategy call, we guided him through research, competitive analysis, and gathering relevant client feedback to conduct a brief brand audit. We also considered different aspects of his brand identity and business plan to help sharpen his strategy.

After doing this and reviewing research results together, one of our findings was that, for his clients, his service meant more than a haircut. What they were buying when hiring his services was an enjoyable and memorable experience, a sense of community, his passion for providing that service, and the clients' feeling that he genuinely enjoyed sharing that experience.

That’s what made him and his service stand out. The clients were so happy with the experience that they would return and recommend his service to others.

That’s great! The problem was that he didn’t know how to convey that unique value and brand experience through his visual brand identity.

He wanted to design an impactful visual identity, a brand style guide, and new marketing materials to position his business for growth. He also wanted to build a community where all his clients could feel they belong, building trust and loyalty with long-term, lasting impact.

He wanted to foster that strong sense of community and get the brand message to a broader audience locally and internationally. That would allow him to build an online presence and, eventually, a global community to expand around the world. That would allow him to travel more while doing what he loved the most without losing that community and the distinctive essence of the brand personality.

SOLUTION:

After identifying his primary goals, challenges, competitive advantages, and the opportunities for improvement we wanted to focus on, we built a solid foundation by developing a design brief to create a strong brand visual identity.

We designed visual elements and detailed brand guidelines to consistently express his brand’s unique voice, personality, and value proposition to the target audience based on the new brand strategy and positioning goals.

Every detail was designed with purpose and dedication to create a great brand experience at every touchpoint.

That’s our approach and how we created Insane Barbers Club: a compelling brand identity backed by strategy, with their specific goals, aspirations, ideal client, and target audience in mind.

The outcome:

After implementing the new branding design and strategy, we noticed immediate results. Gabbo was extremely happy because he got a lot of compliments on the new brand look and feel and marketing materials. The new brand visuals reflected an increased value, which means the customers were willing and expecting to pay more for the service. Many new clients reached out to book appointments with him and he acquired a significant amount of new loyal clients looking to join the Insane Barbers Club; Gabbo’s brought to life, and his ideas turned into experience.
